Technical Difficulties

Have tried to activate my sim card for my new phone the whole day.
After going through the process umpteen times all you get is 'We are experiencing technical difficulties". (0831239622)
I am really hoping that purchasing from Mtn Direct is not going to be something I regret.
I phoned 808 and they said I must go into the store to activate my sim card.
The reason why I went through MTN DIRECT was to avoid having to do the 'run about' to stores?
