According to the automated voice response system, I was due for an upgrade. I called 808 (call centre) to find out if there was a specific package available. The agent did an extensive background security check (phone numbers, address, work history, physical address, bank info) and then said for the information I want they are closed and I must call back during working hours.
He then insisted that it is MTN policy to do a security check even to say they are closed.
At the end of the call I asked about the customer service feedback survey (like cell C's) and he said MTN does not have one. Not surprising.
MTN please do not call me. Just respond on this website confirming if this is your policy.
