TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!

I booked my Samsung S3 in for a screen repairs yesterday at Vodacom Repair centre Eastgate. I handed the lady my claim for as I have Vodacom insurance, she said it's not necessary as the first 2 screen repairs are for FREE and I will at the latest receive my phone back on Sunday - I will receive a sms when my phone is ready for collection. This was much to my delight - immediately told my friend and family this is great service as I need my phone asap as I travel a lot and need it for work purposes!

This am I got the sms - it didn't state that I can come and collect my phone rather it said "Dear Vodacom customer: the quote to repair your handset is R2057.27 etc." I immediately phone the centre and asked them want happened to the first 2 screen repairs are for FREE, and I explained the above. Their answer: pls fax the claim form and we will process it, normally we waiting 24hours to get approval and since tomorrow is Saturday we may only get approval by Monday then the phone will be booked in for repair which will depending on stock availability might take 3-7 days - again contradicting above.

This is not on, I should have known its too good to be true - I'm very disappointed!!
