TELKOM - FAILURE TO DELIVER SERVICE

My wife applied for a Land line as well as the uncapped ADSL (2MBs) on Saturday, 15 June and this service was supposed to be installed on Fri 21 June according to the Telkom Direct assistant. On Fri 21 June, I did NOT go to work. Awaited Telkom 4 the installation. However, this was for ALL FOR NOTHING. On Monday, I phoned 10210 asking when this service was going to be installed as I was staying home again for the 2nd day awaiting Telkom for the installation. I spoke to Phumelele. She then booked another escalation (24 June). Two Telkom guys pitched at my house at about 3h30pm the same day to do the installation. After a few min, they informed me that there was a problem with the ADSL line as a booking was made for only the Land line. He informed me that he phoned the "Centre" but there was no answer and he has to come back again the next morning at 9am sharp. Totally disappointed, I realized that this is going to cost me another days salary. I stayed at home again. At 12h30 yday I phoned again asking whether this guys were still coming back and I've been told Escalation Dep was gona phone me. Its day 4 and I am still waiting. I got the bill already but haven't even used the service
