Last week Friday I noticed I had no money left on my phone and my smses were still not going through. I phoned virgin mobile and was informed that my smses had not been loaded due to a new system which had been implemented in May. I rarely use my phone to make phone calls and I heavily rely on smses this leads me to believe that all my airtime has now been used for the smses I have sent over the last 2 months. According to my contract I should receive R100 airtime and 1000 free smses per month. Over the last three days I have called virgin mobile and they have yet to sort out the problem. The people at the call centre say they are awaiting response from another department.. I have now been unable to use my cell phone to communicate for over 4 days. I use my cell phone to contact parents on a daily basis as I work with children and this kind of communication is essential. When I phoned this morning I was told that this problem will be rectified by this afternoon however I have been told this before and I have lost all faith in virgin mobile. I ask that this problem be sorted out immediately.
