I went to Autopage last week Wednesday to open a contract for a Samsung N8000. Took me ages to complete all the forms and information sheets. When filling out forms, I explained that I needed the item by 19 June, my husband is going overseas and wants to take it with. The staff told me there was no stock available, but they would order the item and I would probably have it by Friday. Empty promises, it seems... I asked them to contact me on Friday with information. No surprise, I didn't receive any call from them and dropped by the store on Friday afternoon, just to be told that they still didn't receive stock. Again I asked them very nicely when stock would be arriving, to be told Tuesday, by the very latest Wednesday morning (today). I phoned both yesterday and today to ask about availability, and was told every time, no luck yet. To date none of the staff has phoned me with any updates. I held on for over 35 minutes on the call centre number, spoke to 5 different persons, and I have not been able to get any clarity on when the item will be available. Some of the agents say my application is on the system and approved, others are not even able to find my application form.
