I phoned MTN call centre to enquire about the Samsung Galaxy Pocket (S5300) Smartphone Samsung WiFi Camera (DV300F). I was told they do not have this item in stock but that I should go to one of their outlets as they will have this in stock there. I then went to MTN at the grove mall and requested the upgrade. They told me that the upgrade will be there for collection the following Wednesday. The Wednesday came and went and the stock was not there. I phoned the shop and they assured me that the stock would be there the next week. Another week went by and nothing. They didn't even bother to phone me to tell me there is no stock. I went to the store and once again, promises that the stock will arrive. I lodged a complaint on the MTN website with ref: 1968189. No one has responded to this complaint. I again lodged a complaint on 24 April with ref: 99374425, Still no response from MTN! What really upsets me is the fact that they have been advertising this stock item since 10 January and in every Yello trader since then. Isn't this false advertising if they don't have stock? I have been waiting for about 2 months with absolutely no interaction from MTN's side. The PATHETIC connection!
