As Nashua in sandton city was taking too long in returning my phone from repairs, I decided to take on a new Galaxy Note II contract with Vodacom because my Nashua contract will be expired the following month. I went to Vodacom next door to apply for a new contract. Before applying, I explained my situation clearly and asked if I could port my Nashua mobile number to the contract I'm about to take once my contract expires with Nashua. The consultant, Amu, assisting me told me I could. So I was more than happy to accept the contract. The following month, we both went across to Nashua mobile to sort out the preparation of the number to port. After a few weeks, at long last my number was prepaid and ready to port. I went back to Amu and he tells me I can't port to an existing contract. He says he thought I wanted to port to a new Galaxy S4 contract. I couldn't believe what just happened. I could never have said that because I had no intentions of taking a new contract and besides at the time of taking out my contract on 14th of Jan, S4 wasn't even out yet. Now I'm stuck with a number I can't use. Now I'm paying every month for nothing. Nobody at the store is willing to solve this mess
