First of all, one of the reasons I am using this site (hellopeter) to voice this complaint is because the Vodacom website offers no (none that I could find) place to query something with them. Clearly they feel that they are beyond reproach.
However, the real reason I am here is to query (and warn others) of Vodacom's less than honest data bundle practices. I have a monthly data contract for 1 Gig per month. I run my business via the net so the 1 gig is never enough so I find myself buying additional data bundles during the month. What enfuriates me is that Vodacom advertises that you get "free" Night Owl data equal to what you buy. Well you dont!!! I find myself being very disciplined about my daily use of the internet for my business purposes so as to conserve my data. i then go on after midnight to download music etc during my so called free Night Owl. however each time I have done this over several months, the next day i find that my daily data bundle is almost or totally depleted... used up by what was supposed to be "free" Night Owl data. I know this for a fact because each time I go on after midnight I check the next morning and find that 0kb of the Night Owl has been used.
