On 17/09 I realised that my bill went from around R600 to R1300 due to out of bundle charges from the previous night. However, on 16/09 I'd bought 500mb bundle & used most of the night owl data after midnight for streaming. I still had about 80mb left of night owl but was charged out of bundle rates for data that had finished before midnight. I called Vodacom & was told that an audit would be done taking 14 days. I also sent an email to customer care asking for itemised billing. I bought another 250mb bundle. Around 9pm of the 18/09 I was alerted that my bundle had run out which didn't make sense as I had kept track of my usage. I called Vodacom again to escalate the audit - my bill was R1500. I activated another 250mb bundle but between 10pm - midnight, my bill increased to R1800.By the morning of the 19/09, I'd incurred another R200 out of bundle charges while I was asleep as my bill was R2082.67. I was referred to Advance Data Solutions Department. While speaking to this call, my bill magically went up from R2082.67 to R2091.09, though my data bundle was still active. I've now removed my Vodacom sim card & using an 8ta sim for fear of further unexplained charges.
