I went to Mtn on 15th May to apply for a contract, submitted everything required, 16th May I called to check the outcome of the application, the guy said it was approved and they are waiting for MicroSimCards they'll receive them during the day. 17th May a lady called and said the colour I wanted was not available, the guy on the 15th had said that He'd keep one for me. Ok, they found the colour I wanted and I went in to collect, filled in forms to port from Vodacom to Mtn and was told it would be done that day. 20th May I'm still waiting for the migration to happen, Vodacom say they approved on Saturday and I was told the delay is on Vodacom's side when I called the Mtn shop to find out on the very same Saturday. It's been a nightmare, I went to apply cos I needed a phone, and haven't been able to use that phone since I collected it on Friday.
(The new device uses a microSim and I'm still using the old Vodacom one cos the migration hasn't taken place). Is this the kind of service one should expect going forward?
