Rude Call Centre Man and Outdated MTN System

I was at MTN Offices on Rivonia on Saturday, 18 May 2013. I ended up being there for 2 hours. The lady that assisted me is brilliant and does her job well. I had to phone 173 from there to get a Sim Swap done (which by the way is totally messed up and up till now 08:53 20 May 2013 is still not solved). The man that assisted me could not articulate, I could not understand him and when I made it clear that I could not understand him he became rude and insisted that he cant help me anymore as "I am useless for not understanding" him. Only when I said that I am at the MTN Offices on Rivonia did his attitude change slightly. I also discovered to my disbelief that the information on the system is from 23 months back! Obviously and needless to say I failed the security check!!! This is shocking as I answered truthfully.
I am frustrated! My Sim Swap is still not done! I am at the point where I want to cry with frustration and disbelief that something so simple is changing into this excersize of not being able to have access to my phone in case of an emergency as my son is at home. So, my Sim card not working :(((
Is this normal MTN? I've been with you so long!
