Sim Swap Struggle!

I upgraded my contract with MTN & got a new phone that I was looking forward to using. The phone requires a nano sim, so I had to get a sim swap. Friday 22nd Nov, I visited MTN Southgate to get a Sim swap, I was told it couldn't be done as my account was not updated on the system, the consultant phoned the call centre & they updated it, but it was still not reflecting on the stores system. I ultimately left with the new SIM card & asked that they prosses the swap as soon as my details are reflected. I phoned the store Saturday afternoon, & they processed the swap, then later I phoned the call centre to check if it had been activated, but they couldn't pick it up on their system. I have been calling the store & the call cente (808) all day today to no avail. It's been over 24hrs that MTN requires for a swap to take effect, & I am still waiting.. I am starting to regret my decision to upgrade my contract with MTN.. I don't understand why I should be inconvenienced because of mtn's system issues? I hope this can be sorted out soon!
