How Incompetent Can One Be?

I went to this store on Sat December 07, 2013 to pick up my phone and initiate a sim swap as i had lost my phone. I was assited by an African lady who was very well informed and I had to make a decision about the phone I wanted to take. 30 minutes after I returned to the store to take my decided phone and was assisted by a guy named Brandon. First which was shocking to me was that they do not do claim pick ups during the weekend. (hello i was here 30 minutes ago and was assisted). He went to some window to talk to someone else who agreed he could help me. I got the phone (excited) and he too my ID and initiated a sim swap for my number at 4.04 and told me my sim will work in 2 to 24 hours. Till this day it has not worked. maybe he might have said 24 days and I missed that. Called the contact centre (another nightmare) only to be told there was no note or trace of a sim swap being initiated on the phone and I need to return to work (lets understand i work to be able to pay my MTN bill) i called the store and they did not pick up the phone for the entire weekend. I still do not have a working sim card and its getting to 72 hours now. I need this dealt with immediately...
