My husband mr Paul Watthey purchased an ipad mini on 17 may at 11am, from the Hyde park store he was advised by the sales agent phila that the SIM card has been activated and would take 2-24 hrs for activation. That would mean it should have been up and running by Saturday morning, when he called phila he advised that he did not activate the card in store as requested. Upon calling the call centre he spoke to a guy named thabo who assures him the card was activated and service would be granted by Saturday evening. Today he called the call centre again and spoke to Sibongile who again told him the card has not been activated. He was also told that a supervisor would call him back since yesterday this has not yet happened??? He was told that once a supervisor calls him that he would receive immediate activation and we expect this done TODAY!!! I am truly appalled at the runaround he has received as I keep hearing how awesome MTN is, clearly this is NOT the case. Mrs Verlene Watthey
