6 hours turns to 24 turns to 44

I ordered a new contract on Monday 13 May as my data usage on my other contract was completely out of control even though I checked my usage on *111# continuously (see previous complaint that has still to be resolved)

The new model wat delivered on Tuesday 14 May 2013 (GREAT!!) I phoned on Tuesday to have it activated and was told it will be done within 6 hours.

Wednesday morning it was still not activated and I was told it actually takes 24 hours.

This morning, after 48 hours it is still not active!!! I phoned again and was given the excuse their systems were offline yesterday and it will be active by the end of the day.

Even if your systems were off yesterday, what happened to Tuesday and this morning??

If this 3G is not active by 2pm today, 16 May 2013 you can come and fetch your modem and cancel the contract (as I can see it is my right to do so if I am not happy within 14 days). I see Cell C has the same deal so will rather go with them.
