Non-stop BAD Service

I changed my bank account on 27/03/2013 @ Standard Bank Saveways (Witbank) & directly afterwards went to the Vodashop. I completed a form for my new banking details and signed. Afterwards the lady faxed the form&copy of my ID & handed me the fax send report as proof it went through. I phoned 0821946 on 30/03/2013 and the guy told me my banking details wont be changed in time (due to public holidays) for my debit order on 01/04/2013, but will definitely be in time for 01/05/2012. I was advised to go and pay the money at a Vodashop so that it can immediately reflect, to which I did (again Saveways) & paid the cash ON 30/03/2013. The debit order never went off on 01/05/2013.I phoned 0821946 to enquire. Only then was I informed my account number is incorrect. I asked the operator (Asithe) whether he is trying to tell me that the account number the bank issued and is the number into which my salary gets paid is incorrect? To which he responded "yes mam". I honestly can't believe this! My SALARY gets paid into this account so it IS correct! I will NOT be held responsible for returned debit order costs as it was NOT me that was at fault!
