I have account with Vodacom, on the 24th of September 2013 I cancelled the debit order with Vodacom via a call made to Vodacom costumer care. The send me form to complete and return to Vodacom. On the 25th of September 2013 I send the form to Vodacom, via fax to the following number 011 546 8888. I have a fax receipt confirmation.
By the 30th I have had now reply or communication from Vodacom, what so ever. I phone 0821946 again and spoke to Shivani (not sure of the spelling). She informed that the debit order was already loaded and send to the bank and I will have to pay a R100 rand "insufficient fund" penalty.
Vodacom informed me that I will have to pay the penalty end October 2013.
Vodacom was informed timeously of the cancellation of the debit order. Why should I now be penalised for the inefficiency.
