On 22 April 2013 I reported that 2 of our 4 Telkom lines are faulty. The lady told me that the lead time for response from Telkom to attend to faulty BUSINESS lines are 3 to 7 working days which in it self is ridiculous. On day 8 after reporting the problem a technician arrived, checked outside in the box and came inside to check, then told me that they can't fix the lines because the lines going in to our switchboard is not marked. On 2 May 2013 our service provider came out to mark the lines and reported the fault to Telkom again as there was no fault on the switchboard side. On 4 May 2013 Telkom closed my call again saying no fault found which they determined without checking the lines properly as the building was locked since we don't work on SUNDAY. On 7 May 2013 I booked the call again, the lady assured me that it should be attended too soon as it is the same fault as before. I have been phoning daily to follow up the fault, it has been escalated to the technical department 3 times and 2 notes have been sent to them asking that the call be prioritized. When following up this morning I am told it has not even been given to a technician yet. How are we to run a business???
