Telkom are really pathetic, i manager a large retail store in Wigeheuwel and have not had phone lines for more than a month.
Everytime i manage to get hold of someone (after holding on for sometimes half a hour), I get a different story and a new ref number, which by now means nothing to me. I have also been told that the problem has been sorted out and that its my switchboard that's faulty. I called the switchboard company and within the same day they sent somebody to check there equipment. The technician showed me that there was nothing wrong with the switchboard and even showed me that the lines are not working. I have phoned Telkom again but cannot get hold of anybody! I'm now!
Today i saw a Telkom van stop in front of my shop and got all excited, only to be told by the occupant of the vehicle that he was only here to shop and that he cannot assist me until he gets a call out.!
The company that I'm employed by who have more than 20 stores nationwide are considering to cancel all phone and dsl lines with Telkom and doing business with NeoTel. Telkom you are really bad!
