I open a fitness account with maponya gym in January 2013 submitted my banking details for them for debit my account end of February. The debit order didn't go though so I went to find out what happen and was advised that the account number was invalid then I presented a bank statement to verify the account I had submitted and found that the details were correct. I paid the amount that was due for February manually and i was promised that end of march the debit order will be submitted, to my surprise I didn't see the notification message that the debit order went off so I went to them to ask why was i not debited and the lady at the admin told me that the banking details we submitted for end of April not march now i'm owing the account in which i was promised that i wont have a prob with and lately and the gym is too full i decided that i will cancel my contract hence they can debit my account and the is no enough space at the gym and it smells dust i haven't been in the gym for three weeks to a month

maponya gym admin can debit my account and they don't want me to cancel my membership how stupid is that
