I took out a personal loan during last year. The debit orders normally deducts from my account on the 3rd of each month.
I settled my personal loan on 27 March 2013. The account didn't reflect on my internet banking any more which means the settlement letter and money was received by FNB.
On 3 April 2013 I was surprised to see that the debit again went off my account.
When I called the call center today, I was advised that the refund will take 36 business hours, HOWEVER they are experiencing a back log and will take longer.
NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR KNOWS HOW LONG BECAUSE OF USELESS STAFF THAT DIDN'T CANCEL THE DEBIT ORDER!!!
I am more than frustrated with FNB, to say the least. Due to your failure to cancel the debit order / sorting out admin, I have to be prejudiced???
I want my money which was wrongfully deducted back in my account TODAY!!!
