Debit order date captured incorrectly

I opened a cellphone contract with an Agent in Maponya by the of John (not-sure) whom I have given him all my details including my debit order date for the 30th of every month. After signing for everything and getting the contract I went back to verify such information and called their customer service to confirm my debit order date of which in all occasions I was advised that it will be ran on the 30th, today I received a message from my bank advising that MTN has debited my account, when I call them they just advised that they have no information of my contract and they aren't the agents who, I signed the contract with and there's is nothing they can do.
