I joined Planet Fitness in August 2012 at the Rosebank branch through Dale. I took the Life Long Provincial option and paid R3088, 00 with the remaining amount to be debited to my bank account at R240.67 per month. At the time, my banking details were not available but I called them in to Dale the following day and sms'd them through to be put in the contract document for my account to be billed.
This has not been done. It is now January 2013. I have not been able to go to gym as I am expected to pay the outstanding amount upfront. I refuse to do as, this issue is due failure on Planet Fitness side. I have called in my banking details numerous times with promises that this issue will be sorted out and the R240.67 will be taken off from the time the details are added to the system. I have now had to personally go into Planet Fitness Bedfordview to get someone to address this issue as I have received another bill indicating that I have not paid the outstanding amount. At best, I should be allowed to use the facilities that I have paid more than 50% of the fees for.
I have now once again had to make a call to Planet Fitness only to be told that there is nothing they can do as, unless
