I moved to Australia in 2012 for a work assignment for two years and consequently cancelled all of my accounts during July 2012. One of these was my gym membership with Planet Fitness and I paid the cancellation fee of R2, 356.80.
From December 2012 to date, I have noticed that Planet Fitness started debting my account again and have debited a total of R3, 541.15.
Being abroad makes it difficult to make contact by phone, so I used the contact form on the website, but I have still had no response nor confirmation that my query is being dealt with.
I would appreciate if Planet Fitness would refund me the amount in question and remove my banking details from their system.
