Recently bought a Cellini suitcase for almost R2000! Wanted a strong and reliable trip for my travels in Europe.
At only me 2nd destination the lock broke :-( this meant that I could not lock the suitcase and had to make use of cable ties.
Once I arrived back in SA i went to the Cellinin Store in Sandton City where it was purchased.
Without any problems it was sent in for repairs as it is less than a month old.
Yesterday I received a call telling me that repairs will be R150 as the warranty does not allow for bags being damaged in airports and trains?!?!
This is shocking! The R150 is small change compared to purchase price, but how can the warranty not cover the repair?
To they expect me to use the suitcase in my house?
Will never by Cellinin again and now just want my money back!
