On Saturday 8 DecemberI I bought a perfume at Edgars Waterfront. When I checked my slip the next day someone had spent R8 500 on my account. On Sunday morning I went into Bayside and filled in a dispute form.By the following Thursday the form had not been sent to the relevant department and my card had not been blocked. It took 3 calls to the manager of Bayside to get somewhere in order to understand the process. She told me branches do not get involved. What should I do if the dispute department doesnt have the forms?? I am still waiting and get sms's and letters demanding payment. I paid what I owed on that Sunday. First of all, I presume it is an inside job as I still have my card and how would people in Vryburg get my card details. Secondly, surely in these times Edgards should have a system to deal with Disputes and stop sending sms, s and bills when there is a dispute. It is destressing to customers when there is no help and R8500 is spent on the card without our knowledge. Edgards doesnt care a hoot!
