I'm absolutely disappointed by Edgars. On 30/12/12 someone made purchases on my account. After receiving my statement on 20/01/13 I went to one of Edgars stores in Alberton City to log a dispute. I was told to go to the police station to draw up an affidavit and certify my id copy and card copy, so I can be able to sign a dispute form, then wait again for 3 weeks. It's such inconvenience to me because I had to drive, more than 2 km to the police station hence the person who used my account just walked in and out of the shop with no questions asked. My account was used due to Edgars negligence, because I don't think this person was asked to provide any form of identification, but when I, the account holder needs to log a dispute, you send me running around to the police stations. I have never lost my card and all this happed while my card was in my possession. I need this rectified ASAP.
