On the 3rd Jan while trying to make a payment on my edgars account I discovered my account has been used for purchases of over R8k. This is the second time ive experienced this on my Edgars account. I logged a dispute with Mantoa at Eastgate store who advised she would get it signed by her manager and send to the dispute department who would contact me in 48 hrs. on the 9Jan, way over 48 hrs later i called the dispute dept to be informed that they hadn't received my dispute form. Attempts to call Edgars Eastgate have been fruitless as the line either rings with no response or is busy. On the 9 Jan i was called by collections department demanding i pay an installment of over R4k. I explained to the agent I will do no such as my balance was only R4.7k when I last used the account. He said he would report the matter to his manager and they would investigate and revert back to me. To date NOBODY from edgars has had the decency to contact me.
