I went to buy an antique silver focus tripod floor lamp this morning from the Fourways store. The item was on the floor at the entrance and we immediately paid for it and waited for the lamp to be packed. As we left the store the sales person informed us that the lamp was actually not for sale as someone actually bought it the previous day. There was no sold label on the price tag or a record of who bought the lamp, they simply said it wasnt for sale anymore. There was no effort made to replace it or find an alternative lamp, only a reversal transaction done on our credit card and we were told to come back in 2-3 months maybe they will have one again. I am appalled at such bad service and cannot understand why they wouldnt give it to us after we paid for it or made any attempt to find another lamp from another branch.
