On Thursday 28 Feb my fiance and I were at the Truworths store at the Waterfront and found a mens Jacket, we looked to see if the store had my fiances size and couldn't find anything on the rails. I then asked my fiance to ask a consultant to determine what store had the jacket in his size. The female consultant then indicated she will check in the store room on her return she indicated that there was nothing in the store room however the mannequin had the specific size we were looking for. She then indicated that she would call the consultant after waiting a while and browsing not too far away I decided to take the jacket off the mannequin myself. Only then did Mandla appear and then informed me that I am unable to purchase the item as a store visit will be taking place. He offered to take down my details and get back to me however I find this unacceptable, how can a store decline to sell merchandise to a consumer? it does not make sense, I then had to take a chance and go to the Canal Walk store which was a much better experience, FANTASTIC SERVICE AT CANAL WALK!!!
