Hi this complaint is centered around truworths parow. i was walking past their display on saturday and noted that they had advertised a black leather jacket for R55.00. i approached their staff member and advised her i would like to purchase the jacket for the price, she went and looked and said she needed to get her manager quickly. the manager came saww the price and said 'oh dear' she advised she needed to call some one. the branch manager came, removed the price and the jacket, came to me and told me its a size 34 and i said i am that size, she askedme to stand in queue to purchase the jacket and told me she need to just call someone. after a while she came and told me her regional manger tasneem miller advised that they cant sell the jacket to me for thatpprice and quoted the nca. stating that if it had to be 490 on display and it scanned at 590 then she could give it to me for 490. and this is human error as i can see and a matter of bargain snatch and the store is not at fault, thus i cannot purchase for R55.00. whether human error or not i believe that truworths did not act fairly in this regard. the price you see is the price you pay.
