My Husband and I purchased 2 Blackberry Curve 9300 on Cell C Contracts from Makro in August 2013, within 3 months both phones gave issues. The 1st phone constantly froze & couldn't read the memory card or download. The 2nd phone's scroller & trackpad failed to work. They were sent for repairs in Dec 2013 and ready for pick up in Jan 2013. A factory re-set on both phones was done; however the memory card still failed to read, and now experiencing problems with my battery life. Within 3 days the same problem occurred with the 2nd phone. It was taken back on the 12/01/13, and was told that I have to follow the procedure as previously; the phone could not be replaced. I asked to be contacted within a week for feedback, which did not happen. On the 4/02/2013 we went to Makro & found out they didn't know the status or bother to contact Cell C. I asked to have my case escalated, they promised to contact me within 48 hrs. It has been 5 days and has not yet received any feedback. We are still paying a monthly fee for the phone and service. This is completely ridiculous and extremely bad service. Cell C or Makro needs to take responsibility & reimburse us and replace those pathetic phones!
