Cellphone Contract

On 16 March 2013 I was at Makro Milnerton to upgrade my cell-c contract. When I came at home Iput the phone on charge for 8 hours. When I start using the phone it seems that there is a problem with the battery, because after charching for about 6 hours I can make one call and the battery went flat. On the 22nd march I phone Makro about the problem. This was on the 7th day. As I am living in Moorreesburg (100km from Makro) I ask the lady if I could send it in on the Saterday (23rd March) with my son. She said that it is ok and that she will log it for the 22nd. When he gets to Makro they tell him that they have to send it away to get repaired. As far as I know if you have a problem with in 7 days they must replace the phone immediatly. Know I have to waite for how long I dont know and I must go all the way back to them. It means 200km extra at the current cost of petrol it will cost me R433.00. I wonder if Makro think it is fair of them. I have the contract for 12 years now. Thanks. Sakkie Swanepoel Moorreesburg
