WORKING BLACKBERRY RETURNS FROM REPAIRS BROKEN

Whilst on holiday in Cape Town over Jan 2013 my Blackberry trackpad stopped working. For the remainder of my holiday I learnt how to operate the phone without having to use the trackpad. Very annoying- but at least the phone still worked!! On my return I took my phone into Cell C Greenstone on the 10th of Jan. I explained to the store consultant the problem as well as mentioned my poor battery life having had the phone for only 10 months. I removed both sim card & memory cards & handed the phone in. I was then told it would be sent in and it would take 21 working days for repair. I was notified on the 31st of January that my phone was ready for collection, 3 weeks after having handed it in. When i arrived at the Greenstone branch i was handed my phone & immediately put my sim and memory cards in. I also noticed that the battery hadn't been replaced at that point. The phone however did not respond at all & wouldnt even turn on!!! The consultant then gave me the report from the technicians which stated that the phone was "beyond economical repair" he didnt know what that meant. The manager of the store then said that she could get the technician to contact me. I have yet to hear anythin
