On 27th December I booked my vacuum cleaner in for service. The lady informed me that repairs usually takes 1 week, but as it is the festive season it will take up to three weeks. I understand this and informed her accordingly. Two days later a "Tim", the repair centre manager, phoned me to inform me that the engine must be replaced at a specific cost. I agreed to the cost and gave permission for the repairs to be carried out.

Every Tuesday i drive to the shop to ask where my machine is. The shop assistant PROMISED that the store manager WILL phone me on Tuesday, 04 February. Today 6 February I went back to the store as the manager still did not phone me.

The manager told me that the engine for the vacuum cleaner will only be shipped by the end of February. Then only will repairs be carried out.

On my enquiry why it is taking such a long time, he informed me that it is out of his hands and the repair centre will repair the machine as soon as they have the spares. I must understand that they are only rendering a collection service.
