I recently wanted to buy a vacuum from Game. After phoning all the game stores the cresta branch was the cheapest.
I went to the store to check out the item and the price stuck in huge letters over the items was 1499.00. because i didn't have the money with me i left. that was a Tuesday.
On Thursday lunchtime i phoned to check that the price is still correct and they confirmed over the phone that the price tag over the vacuum cleaner was still 1499.00. Thursday afternoon i arrive to find the price was now 1599.00 - and they denied that they have changed the price. I was also told that i must have been looking at a different vacuum cleaner or that i must not have seen the price correctly (!!)
So after asking a very rude store manager why the price has changes between lunchtime he told me to go and fetch my own vacuum cleaner. Jo (the store manager) was so rude i left the store immediately.
What made this even worse was the fact that the exact same vacuum cleaner was advertised in our local paper as 1699.00 - a huge saving of exactly nothing because that was the normal price of the machine 2 weeks before (when i started looking at the red verimark genesis vacuum cleaner product).
