The recent weekend special on an HD PVR refers. Not being able to get a a Pick 'n Pay store to purchase the decoder I went online to see if the same special was advertised on their online portal. The special was indeed advertised. I opted to register as a user and completed the purchase. This process was straight forward. I confirmed a delivery date of Tuesday 5 February. To my utter dismay I received a payment advise deducted from my credit card for the price other than that advertised. I contacted the call center only to be told that the special price was only applicable during the weekend (when I concluded the purchase). On top of that the product has still not been delivered although it was agreed it would be delivered on Tuesday!
My first time online experience with Pick n Pay was a big disappointing and I will definitively NOT use their portal again!
