Bad experience towards my complaint

I have shopped at Pick & Pay for as long as I can remember. I pass two bigger supermarkets to go to this Pick & Pay at least twice a week.

On 30 January 2013 I did grocery shopping, buying amongst other things a packet of biltong and 4 packs of frozen shrimps. When I got in the car I opened the biltong, but it was full of mould. I kept the packet to return later. This week Tuesday I opened one packet of shrimps. The moment I opened it I realized it has gone bad. I opened the other three packets one by one, but they were all rotten. I threw it away immediately.

Yesterday, I go back to the shop, tell my problem to one of the managers, she doesn't really look interested and she refers me to someone who is in charge of the frozen stuff. He then asks me for the empty bags. I told him I threw it away immediately as the odour was terrible and I couldn't keep it in my car the whole day. He told me it was a problem and they would not believe or help me without the empty bags.

I know people may take advantage of situations like these, but I have never in my life returned anything to Pick & Pay, and now I must just walk away and lose my money. You lost me as a customer.
