Short version - Not using Edgars acc. Saw every month for - 1year R10-R20 deducted from bank acc. Query Edgars branch. Said I bought cell airtime. I have 2 MTN contracts. Don't need to by airtime from Edgars. Closed account after paying another R11 which now again due for new month. Was told to contact OTA to cancel subscription. Phoned holding on 10 minutes due to high call volumes, Finally spoke to some one on extremely bad line. Couldn't hear so I hung up. Phoned again and holding on again for 10 minutes. Gave my cell number and he said he was going to transfer me. Then call was cut. Couple of weeks later tried again. Got through. Cancelled it but that was not what I was being charged for. I have to contact RMCS because charges from them. Phoned them, (exactly the same high call volume voice as fom OTA). Asked what charges was for. It was for Jet Music. Why the would I subscribe to music from a clothing store. I told her to cancel it. She asked me for acc number. Only number I have is on Edgars card. She wants account number on statement not card number. Of course I didn't have a statement handy in my back pocket. Now must find statement. You are wasting my time!!!
