Failure to assist a custome

My mother has an Edgars account and opted for the RMCS package which sends airtime to my cell phone once a month. We have attempted to cancel this package for months now because I am unable to take out a new cellphone contract whilst I am still part of RMCS.

For some reason Edgars has failed to cancel the RMCS package contrary to our numerous request. I have been trying to call the call centre 0860 332244 for over a week now and the phone just rings. Given the urgency for me to cancel this package, I have called numerous Edgars stores, the OTA Department (spoke with Mashudu Maise and her superior Jaylene Seloana who could hear me perfectly fine except each time I tried to explain my complaint), Edgars Head Office, the Customer Care Managers (who also don't answer the phone) as well as the Customer Care call centre (Ilse Els) - I am either told to just keep trying the 0860 RMC number or I am told someone will get back to me but no one ever does!

I am shocked at the lack of attention to a customer who is requiring assistance from so many personnel of Edgars and not ONE person is willing to solve my problem. Disgusting!!
