Closing my account after more than 30years

The first time I 've heard of FICA was the day that I wanted to buy clothes at Jet. The lady that assisted me name was Mabel. I gave my ID and and a bill with my residential address on it. One day I received a call from EDCON to say I must FICA my account and went back to Mabel. She said I must get a affidavit to say that I am staying at Vlakplaas 354, plot 25 as the bill is in my husbands name. Me and my husband went to police station and I went back to Mabel to give her the affidavit. When I wanted to buy on my account the lady said that my account is not FICA and I went back to Mabel for the forth time. She called Edcon right away and they spoke to me as well, asking me questions to make sure it's my account. That person said everything is settled and I can buy on my account which I did. Then I received this letter from Edcon to say that they are closing my account due to insufficient information. After more that 30 years and many up and down trips to FICA my account they are closing my account. I am paying in advance for many years and never in my life have I been so insulted. This is a slap in my face and I will never ever buy at Edgars again.
