I have account more than 25 years (with an insurance policy through Edgars payable monthly) but Absa not taking over my account as I not Fica compliant according to Edcon. I wrote to Ncr and Edcon 2/10 response from Edcon Jackie they made a mistake my account will not be closed. My latest account says that "account --4902 will be closed 31/1/2014. wrote letter again regarding this but no response as yet. AS this is the way they treat a prompt paying, non faulting, Fica compliant customer I feel that Edcon's action and incompetence explains why their creditors was sold to Absa however I would like clarity on thisbebecause if they are closing my account I DEMAND A CASH REFUND ON MY INSURANCE POLICY as Edcon is breaking contract.
