Last week at an expo we saw hair extensions being sold by African Butterfly. My daughter was keen and she sat down and the lady used different hair extensions to see what would suit her. They used testers pieces.
It was my daughter's birthday on the 12th Nov and so as a gift I bought the hair. This was after they told us that the hair would usually sell for R2000 but the show price was R800. When I paid for it at NO time did anyone indicate any terms and conditions on the purchase slip or business card.
We did not suspect that the hair that they sold to us, was not of the same good quality as seen on the testers. The hair was terrible and African Butterfly appears to be 'honesty challenged'.
So my daughter then phoned African Butterfly and spoke to the owner Richard Gladwin. He and his very rude assistant, Ronel are refusing to refund our money.
He first said it's unyhygienic to exchange, then in his e-mail he said she could exchange for some Japanese hair, but is refusing a refund. Such dishonesty needs to be highlighted to everyone! BEWARE OF AFRICAN BUTTERFLY, THEY DO NOT SEEM TO BE OPERATING ON MORAL GROUND!
