Does Edcon really know what they doing?

Edcon's double your points campaign they are running is bad advertising. Not only did my mother spend her saturday and sunday fighting with them, but got told she was stupid and got the phone slammed down in her ear. Went to Canal Walk yesterday to query this with the Manager of the store who was very helpful, however when speaking to the manager of the call centre again, i got told a completely different story as to how the double your points system worked. The problem was that my moms receipt said 500 odd points which needed to be doubled, but she received an sms saying only 200 odd points were going to be doubled... how is that possible that the receipt you receive is incorrect?? well that's exactly what the manager of the call centre told me when she couldn't explain to me why the points differed. So how can we trust the receipts we receive from Edgars if it is incorrect? Shocking service and dishonest people working for Edcon, either that or their systems are completely stuffed and are in place to the customers money. I will certainly be telling everyone this and my mother will be closing her account down after being with them for over 20 years.
