ABSA and Edgars partnered to provide a promotion whereby if you convert a specific amount of Absa rewards into Thank You points then it would be doubled. I requested this be done on the 9th of December with the promotion ending 11 December 2013, I was informed if I have any querys I would need to followup with Edgars, I went into Edgars 14 December to spend these points when I enquired to check if the doubling of the points had been complete it showed only the value of R400 which should have reflected R800 due to the promotion, I asked Edgars Customer service for assistance, they contacted Edcon head office and then advised the instore manager would have to correct this, when the manager came in I advised I would spend the points in Jet as its a valid store to use your thank you points, I went into Jet they then advised to come the next day as the call centre to Edcon closed for the doubling of the points, I went in 15 December and after almost an hour still did not get assistance, the customer services advised that I sms this promotion, I did and still no feedback from them with regards to the correction/doubling of the points.
Please assist!
