Following the sale of Edgars financial services to ABSA my Edgars account has been closed for no reason. Within the letter I received I have been informed that my current account's information is too limited for ABSA to acquire. I was not phoned to update my information at all. I have maintained this account in good order for the past 37 years, and was shocked by Edgars' belated terrible service.
To my shock I was requested to re-apply for a new account if I was interested and requested to settle any outstanding payment I might have ASAP.
I DO NOT BANK WITH ABSA AND NEVER WILL!!!
