After 28 years as a loyal paying customer of Edgars, I've been advised that my account will be closed on 31 January 2014, due to the sale of the Edgars credit book to ABSA. Further, as a result of insufficient information on my account they were unable to sell my account to ABSA.
I have subsequently been into the store to update the information required in order to retain my Edgars account. I currently enjoy a '6 month interest free' account, which I'm told is no longer available to new account holders. PLEASE CONFIRM whether the current terms and conditions of my existing account will remain unchanged, in the event that I am obliged to open a new account.
