My Dad recently passed away, I went to Clear Water mall to enquire what the process was to close his account i was then informed of the documents required. i was informed that i could go to any edgars. I then went to the Glen, Firstly at the Glen you have to wait for more than half an hour at cutomer services where one person is working and others are running around. Victor took my forms first completed the incorrect documents, then completed he had to ask his collegues and was informed of the correct documents to complete. He then fisnished completing the documents and faxed them to hollard i presume. He informed me that we would be paid out R8000.00 for the funeral policy. Hollard has only paid R7000.00 .In order to get the claim processed i had to come to the Glen 3 times to follow up. Victor then told me that he has other peoples claims he is also busy with and that where they fax the claims they never receive the documents. The second was the same thing the third week i demanded to see the manager who then got someone a lady i cant remember her name but she was amaizing called me everyday to keep me updated and followed with my claim. Now i am upset because i was misinfomed.
