I took out a Parent Funeral Policy via Edgards East Rand Mall, when they sold me the policy they promised if something would happen the policy would pay out in 48 hours. My dad passed away and all the funeral expenses started, I went into Edgards with my policy, waited 1 hour for them to attend to me, I submitted all the documents which they promised to fax to Hollard, this was Thursday 21 February, today I followed up from my side to hear what's happening, Hollard told me they did not receive any documents from Edgars, Edgards fails to answer the switchboard and if they do you hold only to get cut off, after trying 3 times i got to speak to the operator who could not get an answer from the relevant department, she promised to phone me back (never did) What is the use of getting a policy especially in a time like this, no feedback, no communication POOR service! I e-mailed all the documents myself to Hollard, the only document I do not have is the application which is with Edgards. If I can get the document out of Edgards I would submit it myself to Hollard.
